A fresh, light pizza made with a white cream sauce, topped with tomatoes and fresh basil. Make your favorite pizza crust, or purchase a pre-made dough for a quick meal.
Ingredients
1 (10 ounce) package refrigerator pizza crust
3/4 cup light mayonnaise
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 garlic clove, minced
1 (28 ounce) can Redpack® Diced Tomatoes, drained 1 green bell peppers, chopped
2 tablespoons fresh chopped basil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425o F.
- Lightly grease 12” pizza pan or 13x9x2 inch pan. Unroll pizza crust and place on greased pan. Starting at center press out with hands.
- In a small bowl combine mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese and garlic. Spread cheese mixture on crust. Arrange diced tomatoes in a single layer over cheese.
- Sprinkle green bell pepper and remaining Mozzarella cheese over tomatoes. Bake 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Just before serving sprinkle with fresh basil.
